Luxury Expenses
Until you are a millionaire or close to being a millionaire, you really don't need to
spend your money on luxury items. Pro Sports tickets, luxurious vacations, luxury
cars really aren't necessary. Remember, professional athletes make millions from
you buying your tickets. Every dollar you spend, goes into their pockets, and then
you see them on TV enjoying the good life. Celebrities are the same way, you spend
money to watch their movies and you see them on lifestyles of the rich and famous.
At the same time they are
enjoying the good life, you are
wondering how you're going to
be able to buy food at the
grocery store or able to send
your kids to college. Doesn't
it make sense to maybe
watch tv or read a book
instead?
It's nice to afford nice things, but only when you can really afford them. A couple
months of savings will really help you put away some money so your interest
payments can pay for your groceries, or clothes. Doesn't that make sense?
It's easy to forget that your money is your
own. The high end luxury manufacturers
have lots of money (from you) with which
to advertise the good life and make you
want it before you can afford it. We all
have to resist temptation and wait until we
can really afford it. You need to
concentrate on you getting rich, not them.
Remember, each $1,000.00 you spend on someone else, is $1,000.00 you don't
have anymore. A dollar spent is a dollar you won't have anymore and you can
never get back.
